FORCE is pleased to invite you to the “Joining Forces” seminar at NPD in Stavanger on 22nd & 23rd May 2013.
The seminar aims to improve communication & understanding between the G&G & Res Eng communities in Research & Industry and stimulate co-operation.
The initiative arises from a curiosity seeking a better understanding (for many of us in industry) of the competencies, research activities and future plans of the Earth Sciences Departments & Institutes.

The programme will incorporate both presentations and discussion sessions, with the following objectives:
The presentation sessions are chiefly designed to give the Norwegian & Danish Universities & Research Institutes the opportunity to presenting their activities to the Force community, and each is asked to describe their:
- Key Competencies
- Ongoing & planned research programmes
- Student programmes

The discussion sessions offer both communities to share opinions on how to improve co-operation on common issues such as (but not limited to):
- Raising research project awareness
- Effectiveness of communication between Research & Industry communities
- Improving student placements
- Other similar topics (suggestions welcome)

Participant fee is NOK 1500,- Payment is made online, see registration below.
Please note that no refunds will be given after you have signed up. If you for any reason can not attend the seminar, you are welcome to send a representative, just inform Tone Helene Mydland as soon as there are changes.
