History Matching - what is sufficient HM for prediction/well planning

History matching of mature fields becomes more and more challenging with increasing number of wells and years on production.

Do a full field model to be used for drainage strategy studies, LRP and Justification of IOR/EOR projects have the same HM requirements as a model used for detailed well planning? What are the most important HM parameters for the drainage strategy and the well planning model respectively?  Should the focus be on production from wells, segments or formations? What is a good pressure - or phase match?
How can we quantify acceptance criteria for the HM in order to agree on a 'good enough' history match?

Speaker at this seminar is Anders Gjesdal, Statoil.
