In recent years LWD deep directional resistivity tools have been introduced to the industry and have provided game changing solutions for geosteering and well placement (Dupuis et al., 2013). But those tools also provide reservoir description, around the borehole to a radial depth of up to 35 m identifying major reservoir layers and internal characteristics. With such a depth of investigation, the obtained resistivity sections are an excellent bridge between conventional ‘high resolution’ LWD logs (such as γ-ray, ρ, R) and ‘lower resolution’ seismic images.  This tight integration is the focus of new methodology and its impact on workflow development for updating geomodels will be presented in this Lunch and Learn.
