Integrated basin studies – linking plate tectonics, mantle dynamics and surface processes to basin evolution

Have you ever considered how key processes as plate tectonics and mantle dynamics can affect your petroleum basin model?

In modern basin and petroleum system analysis the impact of these geodynamic processes are largely overlooked.

You are invited to an interesting L&L where Jan Inge Faleide from CEED will present a new study proposal for the industry.

The aim for the  project will be to better understand and quantify geodynamic processes that impact vertical motion and temperature histories in sedimentary basins.

The results from this study can have significant potential for the petroleum exploration industry-and hence reduce future well failures particularly when caused by lack of charge.
